The LA Business Journal reports that the Carlyle on Wilshire condo tower at 10776 Wilshire Boulevard is upping the ante on luxury living. The tower will include 20 "nanny condos," between 294 and 500 square feet in size with units starting at $400k. The nanny condos would presumably be sold to the hired help, keeping them close to their employers at all times. Scary. The developers claim to have already sold 10 regular units along with two nanny units. [LABJ (subscription)]
