The Guardian offers some sage advice for those architects sure to lose their jobs as the recession worsens: Go back to law school or travel the world. In the last recession, the 40% of architects who lost their jobs were able to find flourishing careers outside of architecture: "Many found new careers in law, academia, catering and so on." Architects in catering? Get ready for some 80's-style towering dishes. Another way to survive? Just hope that India, Dubai, Russia, and South America keep on building. [Guardian]
