Following up on yesterday's exterior desecration, we find another completely unnecessary "home improvement" that hurts our eyes. In what looks like a somewhat hackneyed attempt to "secure" the house, this homeowner added not one, but TWO fences surrounding the house, including what appears to be both a wrought iron railing and a concrete (?) gothic-style fence. The listing points out the obvious: "FENCED BACKYARD." The concrete fence is especially egregious, clashing both in terms of style and proportion to the rest of the house. At least it will keep out the invading hordes. Asking price for this three-bedroom, two-bath: $589,900.
