Architect Robert Byrd designed a home on Ivanhoe Drive, according to the Silver Lake News, but he's more famous for some other residences: "Byrd is best known for his design of the Sharon Tate Mansion on Cielo Drive in Benedict Canyon (demolished in 1994) and Frank Zappa's notorious 'Rock and Roll Tree House' in Laurel Canyon." Byrd is also behind this house, a three-bedroom at 2796 Outpost Drive that's listed at $2.795 million. According to the listing, the home was renovated and restored in 2007, so it's not clear how much of Byrd's original design is still here. But nice living room windows.
