DOWNTOWN: The latest shot of the soon to open 18-lane Lucky Strike bowling alley/lounge at LA Live. How funny: The dress code portion of the web site says the following is banned at the fancy Luxe lounge part: "Athletic wear, sweats or sports jerseys, MC colors, Excessively baggy clothing (Tuck-ins are not permitted), Sleeveless T-shirts, Plain white T-shirts (short or long sleeve), Construction boots, Headgear, Chains, Ripped or soiled clothing." Casting a wide net, Lucky, gonna lose the tourists. [Curbed Staff]

DOWNTOWN: Next week, architect Leo Daly's office will play host to the first of a series of design presentations. The speakers are John Enright, AIA - Griffin Enright Architects, John Friedman, FAIA - John Friedman Alice Kimm Architects, and Hraztan Zeitlian, AIA, LEED AP - Leo A Daly, and the event is described this way: "Three design principals will make project presentations in a pin-up/crit format and discuss their projects focusing on Design. A general discussion will follow." The event is open to the public, but you should RSVP; the info is after the jump. [Curbed InBox]
