Holy flying cars, batman! The biofueled Skycar plans to drive/fly from London to Timbuktu in January 2009. The Skycar is "part parachute, part fan-powered swamp boat and part X-Bow" and takes three minutes to get from "road mode" to "fly mode" and vice versa. If this, um, takes off, maybe we can finally realize that dream of turning Los Angeles into Blade Runner. Awesome.
