The Glendale-News Press's Jeremy Oberstein reports that average sale prices for homes in Glendale and Burbank rose last month: In Glendale, the average sale price for a home is now $673,365, up 11.5 percent from October 2007, while Burbank's average sale price is $544,166, down 4.8 percent from a year ago. It's not clear if some big sales in October skewed those increases, but here's how one real estate agent calls it: “Were doing more business than we were doing last year,” [Keller Williams Realtor Keith] Sorem said. “It’s a buyers’ market. Prices have dropped.” [Glendale News Press]
