Silver Lake Meadow Starting to Look Like A Park

New, 15 comments

Another reason to love Los Angeles: The city offers numerous public water fountains (at least compared to some other cities). And Silver Lake's thirsty coyotes will appreciate the new drinking fountain at the forthcoming meadow, now set to open next spring. The latest visit to the meadow revealed not only the fountain, but new poles (assuming those will hold some sort of wire to keep people out of the reservoir?) and new trees. Meanwhile, the path will be open by the end of the year, according to Julie Wong, press secretary for City Council President Eric Garcetti.
