The Dow is down 678 points today, my friends. Iceland is on the brink of being pwned. And there's no sign of a bottom. Nothing good to say about that. And as the economy falters our architect brothers are getting stomped on left and right. A reader forwards us an email from Steve Ruth of Long Beach based architecture firm Perkowitz + Ruth. Sadly, there were many casualties today as the firm closed one of its seven offices. Today's victim: the Las Vegas office. Via the email: "Unfortunately the challenges of today's economic conditions have dramatically affected the Las Vegas market and we are no longer able to continue operations at this location."
