It's a good day for Measure R supporters: The right-leaning Daily News has endorsed the half-cent sales tax increase, saying it's necessary we invest in our infrastructure. And three more ads have premiered. If the first commercial, which debuted last week, touted greater mobility for the county via better freeways, and more trains and buses, these new ads make the case that R will clean the air, and prevent another Metrolink disaster, or Minnesota-like bridge collapse.
