Apparently some idealistic people believe that the country's vast supply of strip malls can be improved on because last year the Scottsdale Museum of Contemporary Art (SMoCA) in Arizona kicked off “Flip a Strip," a competition that asked architecture firms across the country to re-envision the strip mall.
