On the Market: Kappe-Designed Wired LivingHome in Brentwood

You've read it about here. And here. And here. You may have even toured it. Now you can buy it, if you have $4.3 million to spare. The Wired LivingHomes is for sale in Brentwood, and sure, that's a pretty hefty price tag in a sinking market, but you're getting architectural pedigree in the form of Ray Kappe, sustainability (although it appears its still not officially LEED-certified), and iris recognition technology to prevent the possibility of unwanted, glass-eyed guests. That kind of security doesn't come cheap. Also included: "4,000 square feet with five bedrooms, four full bathrooms, powder room and high-tech media room. Its distinctive shape offers unobstructed views across the public spaces, to the outdoors further blurring the lines of indoor and al fresco living." Our tipster, a Kappe fan, nonetheless remains unimpressed: "Along with the rest of LA, I was on the tour a couple of months back - I thought the bedrooms were tiny and the flow a bit strange. I felt claustrophobic."
