New, 11 comments

DOWNTOWN: The Downtown News has info on three forthcoming stores: Neihulé Salon, a salon at 510 W. Sixth St. in the Heron Building, is "coming soon." Additionally, Lofty Dog is opening its second location in the Arts District; it'll offer doggie daycare and a pet hotel. And next door, actual stuff, thank you: Loft Appeal, a furniture store, is opening its second store. [Downtown News]

WEST HOLLYWOOD - Beauty mogul and L Word-inspiring hairdresser to the stars (or at the very least, to Meg Ryan) Sally Hershberger is on the move. A reader tips up off to the location of her new salon: "She just signed a lease for the new Kelly Wearstler building at the corner of La Cienega and Waring." [Curbed Inbox]

WEST HOLLYWOOD - Another casualty of the kids stealing music and movies off the Internets, Virgin is closing, as we mentioned last night. But we didn't know about the sale! A reader tips us off: "Virgin Megastore at Crescent Hts and Sunset has lost their lease and there is a major sale. Stores CLOSES on 1/19!!" The complex is undergoing a major renovation - Sam Ash gone and Virgin on the way out, Pinkberry and reportedly Trader Joe's coming soonish. [Curbed Inbox]
