Last weekend, a reliable source passed on info about the Holiday Inn arriving Downtown. Apparently, that's very true. The reliable source also said that the owner of the burned out shell of a building (pictured above) at the corner of 4th and Broadway was planning to tear it down and construct an eight-story tower on the site. The fire, covered here and here, conveniently unfortunately destroyed much of the historic two-story structure, as can be seen in the pictures after the jump. We'll wait to see if this rumor comes to fruition, too.
