Curbed Reader Comment Round-Up

New, 1 comment

The best posts usually originate in our comments. To give appreciation to our amazing (and sometimes angry) commenters we feature their broad strokes of wisdom in a tidy comment roundup.

1) A Pot of Gold For NBC's Leprechauns "No! The base of it was next to MY office! And I saw a unicorn in the lobby!"

2) With Less Seats To Fill, LAUSD To Build Less Schools "Population can rise again. Why does LA always have to be bursting at the seams? For once, cant our schools be slightly under capacity with room for GROWTH. Cant our transit infrastructure be over built to accommodate growth? I am not saying LA should build 20% more capacity than needed, but LA schools have been consistently overcrowded for years. Is it so bad to build 3% more desks than current needs, just in case the population blows up again. I think schools and traffic are the number one problem for LA's competitiveness. Why not OVER-deliver for once..."

3) Per A Real Estate Agent, Where The Gays Are Heading To Buy "I think it is widely known to any downtown la building that the eastern columbia has the most gays in it than any other building downtown! - not a bad thing at all, but the pool there on the weekends is all you need to see to know what I am talking about"

4) Ask Curbed: How To Describe ZipCar? "Douchebags" is a Popular Choice "Zipcar are not do-gooders. They have made my inconvenient existence as a non-car-owner intolerable. Since Zipcar closed all of the cars we want, maybe we should start a non-profit car sharing program... So anyone in the Downtown to Hollywood area interested in looking into starting a non-profit."
