A sign patiently waits for builders to come and start putting up the Pioneer Bakery Building, a new mixed-used development on Rose and Fifth in Venice that will offer 70 condo residences. Notable for its location--there's not a lot of big development around here--the project will also offer retail (and possibly a bakery) and covered parking. According to the developer's web site, prices are expected to start in the $500,000s. We are just impressed with how well the rendering artist matched that blue sky!
