Marty Ummel, a Carlsbad woman, is suing her real estate agent, claiming that she was misled into paying too much for a home. Her agent wanted the commission, she argues, and withheld information that a similar home in the neighborhood went for $175,000 less. The case may be the first of "many in which regretful or resentful buyers seek redress from the agents who found them a home and arranged its purchase." [NY Times]
