As previously mentioned this morning, Santa Monica wants to replace 54 ficus trees on 2nd and 4th streets with younger ginkgo trees. Having implied these ginkgo would be hot, young trees, we're gonna re-think that statement. As seen above, these things are going through a nasty puberty stage. Or do they fluff out at some point?
