The building fire near the corner of 6th & Detroit on the west side of Hancock Park appears to be under control. KCAL9/CBS2 has its news chopper, Sky 9, overhead and is running the live feed. Traffic on Wilshire and La Brea is totally screwed. For a moment, the reporter on Sky 9 considered following a high-speed chase in Paramount but after learning the chase had ended, he decided to stick with the boring, non-tragic fire. Oh well.
