Following last October's state appellate court decision that tenants of Lincoln Place, a 795-unit apartment complex in Venice, could stay in their rent-controlled units, a group of present and former tenants are suing property owner AIMCO. The city isn't mentioned in this suit, however, a separate class action lawsuit filed last December names the city of Los Angeles. [SM Mirror]
