Bonus "What's Up With That" weekend question. A jittery reader reports: "So I was driving north on Figueroa, leaving my place downtown last night around 5:30, and I saw the oddest thing at the corner of 6th and Figueroa. The fountain in front of that pink-granite building that glows at the top and has green framing around the windows (forgive me, there's no signage...), was ON FIRE!!! Literally, water was pouring out of the fountain and said water was on fire. Did the apocalypse happen and no one let me know? " Anyone book an apocalypse this weekend? Or is this just more Cloverfield end-of-the world viral marketing?
