Sounds like something Lindsay Lohan could do. But no, it's the New York Times who goes Hollywood this weekend for its Travel section. The usual suspects are included (Walk of Fame, Griffith Observatory, Amoeba Records) as well as a few more esoteric (for non-Angelenos) suggestions. Good call: Including Schindler's Roth Residence as a possible place to rest your weary head for a short-term stay. Bad call: Calling the Roosevelt hotel "art deco." We're pretty sure the hotel is Spanish Colonial Revival. [NY Times]
