LAist's Neighborhood Project turns its attention to Angelino Heights and offers a bang-up photo-essay of the neighborhood's famous Victorians. May we suggest using it as a shopping guide. Pictured above (photo via the site) is a home at 1325 Carroll Avenue--an 1888-built home that was transplanted to the street--and is available for $1.595 million. (We think. Redfin has it sold already.) More details about the famous 1300 block of Carroll Avenue can be found in this West magazine essay by Angelino Heights resident Barbara Thornburg, a former president of the Los Angeles Conservancy.
