To go along with Glendale's shiny new Rick Caruso shopping-lifestyle-center, Americana at Brand, the wise people of the Glendale City Council have approved The Alexander, a twin 16-story, condo-palooza at the corner of Wilson and Orange. It wasn't all glory and roses though, as one Councilperson voiced his concern about the project's use of plaster on the exterior, noting it might crack in an earthquake. Gross. Cracked plaster is the grodiest.
