In downtown, there are dozens and dozens of trailers housing security guys--whose job is to watch all those construction sites 24/7--but lookeee here: there are also brave dogs on patrol. Good dog! Helping to develop downtown! This sign was spotted on 9th and Grand, site of the once-proposed and ultimately canceled Gansevoort Hotel, (anyone know the site's fate now?); we certainly hope this sign is not a fake-out and a nice, snarling Doberman is indeed behind that fence.
