After the $20,000 taxi ride from CalTrans, our old friend The 101 House has been spotted a mere 10 miles from its intended destination. Carol Rock at Valley News hunted it down:
Now, it's nestled far from the public eye in a Canyon Country storage yard, in between mobile homes and other large things left on the sides of Southern California roads. We've grown to love the story of this near-mythical structure ever since it was first spotted two weeks ago on the Hollywood Freeway. So, CalTrans, we're begging: Let our 101 House go!
