With some trepidation, we announce that the clock tower at Orsini, the much-maligned, Italian-inspired rental development under construction at Caesar Chavez and Figueroa, is now functioning. Things have been a bit funky with the clock; for instance, that picture on the left was taken this past Saturday morning at 8:20 AM. But yesterday, Curbed drove by and clock was spot on with the satellites that power our cell phone. This morning, a building sales agent says the kinks are being worked out, and yes, the clock is now working. (Gonna be watching you, clock.) Also, a shot of the Venice-inspired "bridge," which just needs a few fake-ivy vines. Romantico!
