Yesterday, we received an email from a former Laker great who provided us with a copy of the invite to the Grand Opening of the Sunset Silver Lake project by KOR Group. We're not suggesting anybody party crash and gorge yourself on free hors d'ouevres and cocktails, but it would provide a fantastic opportunity to see the inside of the lofts while having desperate sales people chase you around trying to entice you to buy. STAY AWAY.
Also in Sun-Sil-Lak news, a reader says he found a couple of listings for units in the shiny new condo project up on the MLS (UPDATE: readers have emailed us the listings -ed.). Via our email: "They are listing a 1,346 sqf 2 bed/bath at 730k. Looks to be one of the nicer ones (3 stories, view). Pricing is dramatically lower than what was originally reported (at least via Curbed). Anyway, wondered if you fantastically connected people had any more info..." And we don't.
