Venice's Hotel Ray: Will It Happen?

Late last week, Venice’s City Councilman Bill Rosendahl announced that he wouldn't support the Hotel Ray, the proposed hotel at 901 Abbot Kinney Boulevard, unless the developers made significant changes. His email outlining his grievances with the hotel can be found here. Well, Rosendahl's support is key, so is the Ambrose Hotel Group, the group behind the hotel, going to make the necessary changes? "We're not sure at this time," a publicist for the hotel group tells Curbed, adding that the developers are asking for a continuance while they regroup. And they just put out a release asking that anyone in support of the hotel show up at tomorrow's Venice Neighborhood Council meeting. A good time, we're sure. Hope not too many people leave with migraines.
