Among the staid homes of Los Feliz, this Franklin Ave. residence always stood out, notable for its for ornate gardens, various lawn statues, cake frosting-like details, and general lack of restraint. Some people called it little Versailles. Personally, we always imagined the ghost of Liberace living here, strolling through the gardens in a sequined cape. But quelle horror-there seems to a renovation going on. The statue has been suffocated with plastic wrapping and the lawn/house frosting is missing. Has little Versailles been sold? Where's Liberace?!
