Using Google Street View to Bewilder Out-of-Towners

Now that Los Angeles is added to Google Maps Street View, some of our oddest, prettiest and surrealist street scenes are showing up on Street View Gallery. To those wondering if this is an "airplane hovering awfully low" we say, yes, of course it is. They have to fly below the smog here. And you wonder why we always complain about traffic?
