This was a blink-and-you-miss it story but our favorite member of the Alligator Mississippiensis species made a run for freedom last night. Apparently Reggie isn't as fond of his new digs at the LA Zoo as he was of his home in Lake Machado. It just isn't as fun scaring the locals when you're locked in a cage. Reggie escaped from his exhibit space last night and went for a walk, but according to the Daily Breeze he is now "back in custody" and is under 24-hour surveillance.
