From the Downtown News piece highlighting CB Richard Ellis' report about downtown (we'd like to see the actual report if any kind reader wants to send):
-The average condominium sale price was $635,005, an increase of 1.8% over the prior quarter. (ED: This is just downtown condos prices, right?)
--The average price for a home in L.A. County was $535,000, down 1.8% from the previous quarter
--Construction of new condos: 80 units per month during the second quarter, a nearly 100% increase from the previous quarter, but there only 199 new units available for sale and immediate occupancy
--Rental occupancy is up to 92.9% in downtown and another 1,000 rentals units are expected to open in the next six months
