We'd offer advice, but Curbed mostly parrots all these articles about foreclosures with no real knowledge about the topic. We can't even manage to keep our cars clean, let alone investigate the foreclosure market. Any advice, readers?

Can you recommend a site where I can locate for free foreclosures or pending foreclosures in LA? [ED: We think he means free web sites. Could be wrong.] And can you give any advice on whether this is an effective/worthwhile/good way to get your first place? I'm a long time renter, and I'm sick of it!
