Developments du Jour: Okay, now Westfield

Shopping, hotels, offices and residential. Say hello to the The Village at Westfield, future home of 10 more frozen yogurt shops. The Daily News has renderings, but they're copyrighted and unclickable so we won't link to them. However, the San Fernando Valley Business Journal, provides the necessary details:

[Westfield] today said it is filing plans for a $700 million redevelopment of about 30 acres that sit between Westfield’s Topanga center to the North and its Promenade center to the South.

Westfield is proposing a mixed use project to include a luxury hotel, about 160 residential units, a 360,000-square foot office tower, about 438,500 square feet of retail space and 75,000 square feet of restaurant space. That residential unit count seems small to us, so we wouldn't be surprised if that's revised upward. We'll hopefully have some renderings and plans later this morning or you can see the plans in the linked Fox 11 video, below.
