Supermarket Roundabout: Customer's Delight

From the wilds of Glassell Park, we get an update on the Eagle Rock Boulevard Fresh & Easy (with pictures!):

Fresh & Easy has posted an official sign. Also, construction has continued on the signature storefront. Still no sign on what other business will go into the old Albertson's building. For now, the entire right side of the building is boarded up, minus a standard door opening. I can't think of any business that would not want ANY windows. During construction it was clear that they divided up the interior of the space, so I don't think Tesco changed their mind to take over the entire building. The Financial Times is also reporting that Fresh & Easy stores are now hiring for customer assistants who " will be 'the face of your Fresh & Easy store' whose 'main job will be to ensure that customers are delighted'. We're thinking this may be some sort of cross between a Wal-Mart old person greeter, Abercrombie & Fitch shirtless model greeter and Costco free-sample ladies. Oh, the horror.
