A reader points us to the Rosslyn building at 5th and Main, where 200 square foot studio apartments are available for $549 a month. About 20-30 units have recently been renovated, a rep for the building tells us. Still, it's pretty sparse living--none of the units have kitchens. Not surprisingly, many of the people living in the Rosslyn are on fixed incomes, and there are commuters and the occasional student. With no comparison about how much other units like this, i.e., kitchen-less, go for downtown, we're not sure how the Rosslyn stacks up with other buildings. But bring your own hot pot!
