BEVERLYGROVE - A reader reminds us of the slow-as-molasses makeover of the Beverly Connection, across from the Beverly Center to let us know the old 80's signage is OUT (man, it makes our eyes bleed) and new signage is IN (pictured above). Developers, please note your signage won't feel millenial if its not a sans serif font. Developrs, you may also want to note mall signage only works if it lists more than 2 stores. SIMI VALLEY - A little outside our normal geographic range but we'll make an exception for Tesco. Ah, our beloved Tesco. A trusted reader writes in to let us know there is no corner of SoCal to be left unturned by Tesco/Fresh & Easy: "Well, not to leave anyone out of the Tesco takeover of the world, Simi Valley now has its very own location with an ABC posting notice placed July 5 on Alamo around Tapo, just north of the 118 Fwy." THOUSAND OAKS - The West Valley finally gets its own fro-yo fix. And just when we declared Pinkberry OVER. We just can't resist another reader-submitted tip. We are merely here to do your bidding. Says one reader: "I know you're all busy declaring the Pinkberry fad over, but I just thought you might like to know that Pinkberry is expanding its 'comforting services' out into the Conejo Valley for all the rabbits to enjoy. It seems it'll be opening up on Thousand Oaks Blvd, sort of near to the BCBG Maxazria store & Trader Joe's. Here's the Craigslist ad if you need a summer job to supplement your meager earnings with poverty wages." Um, that's why we blog. [CurbedWire Inbox]
