Holocaust Museum: Good Location?

(Rendering via Larchmont Chronicle)

The Larchmont Chronicle reports the Los Angeles Museum of the Holocaust, currently located on Wilshire, recently received a 50-year lease at Pan Pacific Park. While the city council still has to approve the project, the paper reports there already may be a snag: Apparently the museum, which was designed by Santa Monica-based Belzberg Architects, doesn't have enough green space and officials haven't addressed traffic concerns. Plus, remember when that nearby Ross Dress for Less blew up? No, us neither. But the museum could also go up in a big fiery blast--it rests on the same methane zone.
