Porn Vs. Bartlett Building Residents

Downtown News reporter Evan George (doing well on the sex beat!) breaks the news that a video store selling lottsa porn recently opened in the Bartlett Building. Outraged residents complained and now store owner Bruce Kim---really, just a guy trying to make a living--says developer Barry Shy has told him he can no longer peddle pervy DVDs. Kim is confused, too. But apparently the developer never signed off on the deal.

"When I signed the month-to-month lease, I told the landlord that I was going to sell DVDs and adult movies, and he said he didn't care what I was selling," Kim, the 61-year-old Korean owner of the store, tells the newspaper. We doubt Kim gets much sympathy from Bartlett residents; please check out the photo of the happy "we beat porn" couple in the story. No porn for them!
