Last month, we pointed you to the the hole in the ground for 717 Ninth. Now, the glorious nighttime rendering comes via the Skyscraper page. Not sure if the fanciful aquatic theme is still planned for the project, but the handy Downtown Los Angeles Business Improvement District's guide to new developments mentions the "kelp garden," the glass curtain resembling a "wall of water" and the seafood restaurant, all of which should ensure some sort of Waterworld experience.
