The Title Guarantee Building at Fifth and Hill streets, a National Historic Monument building that once served as the headquarters of the La Opinion newspaper, is opening for move-in in August, according to the Downtown News. No word on rents Three dollars a square foot and units will range from 750-4,000 square feet, and include walk-in closets that start at seven by 14 feet, reports the newspaper. While the building's gonna open as a rental, there's a chance it could go condo. "..[developer Daniel] Swartz agreed to keep the market-rate units as rentals for at least five years. However, he said he renovated the structure up to condominium standards, and that he might switch to for-sale housing if the market is ripe."
