A trusted source writes in to let us know of plans for the Silent Movie Theater on Fairfax. Silent movies are great, sure. But you know what would make them SO much better? Alcohol. "The Silent Movie Theater on Fairfax partners are in the process of trying to secure a beer & wine license. They plan to turn the upstairs into a restaurant/bar (who knew there WAS an upstairs at that place!), and turn the movie theater into a draft house cinema similar to the Alamo Drafthouse in Austin." We checked the ABC license system, but haven't turned up anything yet.
