UPDATE (11:04 PM): 600 acres burned, including Dante's View. LA Times is reporting that a man smoking a cigarette accidentally started the fire, but the fire chief--speaking at a televised press conference--says no one has been booked. No homes in immediate danger, but evacuations are occurring in Los Feliz. Tom LaBonge, also speaking at the press conference, talked about how wildlife are fleeing the fire.
