Storefronting: Yogurlicious

WEST HOLLYWOOD - The hot days of spring and summer are here. What better time for yogurt in all it's various frozen shapes and sizes. Emailer N F has had enough. "When will this madness end? I spotted another frozen yogurt shop opening up on my way home from work. It's located on the north side of Sunset just west of the Hustler store. The name is terrible The Blue Mango and the tag line is "The "Organic" Frozen Yogurt." Now how in the hell is organic frozen yogurt supposed to be any different then all natural frozen yogurt??? The Blue Mango sounds more like some gay WEHO club along the lines of I Candy instead of a frozen yogurt store. However, the worst name of all the Pink Berry rip offs has got to be Yogurpia on Santa Monica, where poor Mrs. Fields used to be. I sure do miss my oatmeal cookie fix. They could have at least called it Yogurtopia."

HOLLYWOOD - GlobeSt.com reports that The CIM Group has signed up ZARA to occupy half of two floors at 6904 Hollywood Boulevard, next to the El Capitan theater and across the street from Hollywood & Highland. The ZARA store will also be within steps of the soon-to arrive H&M store, planned for 6914 Hollywood Blvd. CIM is renovating the 1920's building and will be doing structural upgrades.

BEVERLY GROVE - Blackburn & Sweetzer reports that the former Paul Frank store on West Third, which is currently all boarded up, will soon house Travis Barker's clothing line. We make leaps of assumption to say that this will be the home base for Barker's joint venture with Jermaine Dupri, Famous Stars and Straps and So So Def clothing line.
