Club Los Globos, known for its... ummm, balloon signage and shootings, is now for sale. Formerly known as Satan’s in the ’60s and later as a gathering place for Gay Liberation Front meetings, today it’s a straight Latino nightspot (via Frontiers Magazine). And our reader who spotted the listing says: "Club Los Globos and the adjacent upholstery shop on Sunset in Silverlake are for sale. $3.5 m for CLG and $1.5 m for the shop. No idea what is planned for the parking lot, site of so many shootings. The neighbors should chip in to buy CLG to shut it down. I used to live right above on Westerly Ter. and there were often gun shots in or near there and then helicopters for hours. They are listed on Loopnet for principals only so maybe they think you should put a school there?" Could one of you trust fund kids, who doesn't work, please buy this place and return it to its former Satan rock glory. Thank you.
