Ray Bradbury Will Not Give Up His Monorail Dreams

KABC has put together a short piece on the future of Los Angeles, circa 2020 so they checked in with Carol Inge, the MTA's Chief Planning Officer, Mark Pisano of the SoCal Assoc. of Governments and...Ray Bradbury. We're also slightly bemused and surprised when we're reminded he's still alive and kicking. And talking up his favorite crazy old man rant: Bradbury: "We've gotta build the monorail down Wilshire, down Pico, down Washington, down Western Avenue, down Vermont ... that's the future of L.A.!" We're just thankful he didn't launch into his dissertation on gender differences in the typical LA driver. That's usually where he loses us.
