Valley Gets Its Very Own Arclight

The theater competition is heating up all over Los Angeles, just when we need it most - for the air conditioning. First The Landmark Theater is opening imminently on the Westside for those who love the Arclight but wish there was more zebrawood at the bar. Now we get word that the Arclight is expanding to a second location in Sherman Oaks:

The Pacific Theatres Galleria 16 is transforming into ArcLight Sherman Oaks, with ArcLight’s signature amenities and guest service, including 16 black-box auditoriums with reserved seating and extra-wide chairs, a café bar, gift shop and exhibits. The renovation process begins in June and the theater will remain open during the first phase of construction so that our customers can continue to see films until August. Our plan is to unveil ArcLight Sherman Oaks during this year’s holiday season. We're almost as excited for a new Arclight this holiday season as we are for The Golden Compass. Almost.
