As smart Curbed reader carter noted in our Silver Lake Library posting, yes, the Silver Lake Wine Shop is getting remodeled. The popular wine store--home of the three-day-a week-wine-tastings--is expanding and will start selling liquor! The plans won't happen for a while, notes the store owner. One related concern: How about speed bumps or a stop light on that stretch of Glendale Boulevard? Between cars flying down that hill, the skinny-panted hipsters running to and fro Cha Cha and Red Lion, the enlightened yoginis pulling out of Still Yoga, and now liquor...we worry. How about a nice traffic lady with a white badge?
