New development Mura really needs to update its banner--when the building opened for sales last October, $340,000 bought you a 590-square-foot studio. Today, the same studio sells for $420,000, while a 1,400-square-foot unit sells for $815,000. "Our prices were originally below market," a rep for the building tells us, adding that prices have risen 10-15 percent. All told, the 190-unit building is sold out with the exception of six units. Perhaps the building's location near Little Toyko/the Arts District is helping sales? Or maybe it's the jammin' DJ music on the building's web site.
